How to Extend Your Visa in Jordan

IMPORTANT LEGAL REQUIREMENT
Register Your Address Within 15 Days
Every visitor must register their residential address at the police station within 15 days of arrival in Jordan.
Address registration fine: 200 JOD
Visa Overstay Fine
1.5 JOD per day
The fine is payable when leaving Jordan if you remain after your visa expires.

Police Stations & Office Hours
Visit the police station responsible for the neighborhood where you live.
Sunday – Thursday
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Morning visits are recommended to reduce waiting time and complete the process smoothly.
