Our Levantine group classes are not open classes you drop into. A group forms when a few learners begin at the same point and move forward at the same pace — which is why the room stays small and nobody is left behind.

How a group actually forms here
Most schools advertise group classes as though a new one starts every Monday. Ours work differently, and it is worth knowing before you enquire.
People arrive at the same starting point
Groups are built around the first phase — the beginning. Everyone opens the same book on the same day, so nobody is catching up and nobody is waiting.
The group stays together
If the group reaches the end of the first phase at a similar level, it continues into the second as a group. You keep the same classmates, the same teacher and the same rhythm.
The room stays small on purpose
Three learners are enough to open a group and five is the ceiling. Past that, speaking time per person drops and the quiet learners stop talking — which is the whole reason you chose a spoken-language course.

Who a group suits — and who it does not
We would rather tell you now than take your money and watch you leave after three weeks.
A group is right for you if
- You are starting Levantine from the beginning
- You are coming with two or more friends or colleagues
- You want someone at your level to practise with
- A fixed weekly rhythm helps you keep going
- You would rather pay less per hour
Private lessons suit you better if
- You already speak some Arabic and are past the basics
- Your working hours change from week to week
- You need the language for one specific job or field
- You are in Amman briefly and want to move fast
- You would rather not learn in front of other people

The rate falls as your hours rise
Group lessons are priced by the teaching hour, per student. You decide how many hours a week suits you, and the rate follows — a teaching hour is 55 minutes.
Every rate above is per student, not split between the group. A one-off registration fee of 15 JOD applies when you enrol. The pair and private rates sit on the full price list.

What if there is no group at your level right now?
It happens, and it is the most common question we get. The honest answer is that we do not simply put you on a waiting list and hope.
Coming as a pair? Two people do not make a group — three is the minimum — but we teach two students with one teacher as its own format, at a rate between private and group.
Want your own timetable, or to learn with people you already know? Both are arranged directly with the office — tell us the hours that work and who is coming with you, and we will build the group around that.
Tell us when you want to start and how much time you have. We will look at who else is starting, whether a group can be formed around you, and what else we can arrange — and we will come back to you with something workable rather than a no. Ask us before you assume the answer.
