What booking through the centre gives you
- Every home has been visited by someone on our team.
- The price on the listing is the price you pay — we take no commission from you.
- Bills, WiFi and cleaning are spelled out on each listing instead of appearing later.
- Contracts and questions go through our office, in English or Arabic.
- If something goes wrong with the flat, you call us, not a landlord you have never met.
- Short stays are possible — tell us your dates and we will check.

Do I have to be a student at Misbah Center?
Housing is arranged for our students first. If you are studying somewhere else in Amman, write to us anyway — we will tell you honestly whether we have space.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to four weeks is comfortable. In September and January the good rooms go quickly, so earlier is better. If you are already in Amman we can often arrange something within a few days.
What is a host family stay actually like?
You get your own bedroom in a Jordanian family home and share the living space. Most families include breakfast and dinner. It is the fastest way to practise Levantine Arabic outside class, because you will be speaking it every evening.
Are bills included in the price?
It depends on the home, so each listing says so. Where bills are not included, water and electricity for one person are usually modest; ask us for the typical monthly figure for that flat.
Can I stay for less than a month?
Often yes, at a weekly rate. Message us with your dates before you book a course so we can check availability first.
Is there a deposit?
Most flats ask for a refundable deposit against damage, returned when you leave. The amount is confirmed in writing before you commit to anything.
Can I see the place before I pay?
Yes. If you are in Amman we will take you to see it. If you are still abroad we will send a video walkthrough and answer questions on a call.
